Samaritan’s Feet – an organization that serves & inspires hope in children by providing shoes as the foundation to a spiritual & healthy life resulting in the advancement of education & economic opportunities.

I had the privilege of serving on two mission trips to India with Samaritan’s Feet and learned some staggering statistics:

There are 2.2 billion people living in poverty who can’t afford education and basic articles of clothing like shoes (World Bank, 2011).

Over 1.5 billion people are infected with diseases that are transmitted through contaminated soil (World Health Organization, 2013).

Shoes and socks are reported to be in the “Top 5 Items Needed” by students in school (Champions for Kids, 2015).

Those going into these countries wash feet of impoverished children and place new shoes on their feet to offer hope that they may walk in the path that God has called them to walk. Learn more about this outstanding ministry.
